- I think in bullet points, thus I will probably post in bullet points. One of the things that I truley love about biz skool ("B-school" just sounds so pretentious) is that I can express thoughts and ideas in bullet format and it is generally accepted.
- I may occasionally mention Oakley my dog who I generally refer to by a number of names, depending on how I am feeling....these include ODB (Ole Dirty Boxer), OD (sounds like Odie), Obie Dobie, DIVA, and The Prince. Try to keep up. Just for reference here is a picture:

Okay enough of the disclaimers, on to my post. One of the great things about being a homeowner is realizing:
- that you are responsible for your own shiznit now (like clogged drains)
- how ridiculously expensive things are (what do you mean a roof is 5K?)
So it has been no secret to the Mister or me that the furance is on the fritz. It is rockin over 50 yrs and has had some corrective procedures done in the past. But it is a trooper and generally requires some maintenance from our plumber. So when the Mister told me that there was no hot water this AM because the furnace had tripped again (which means it didn't light and the circuit trips to avoid fire) I knew that I needed to make a service call (plus this has been happening every day for the past week). Unfortunately a service call requires me to stay at home and wait for the plumber, which means taking a vacation day from work. BOO! I am totally bummed cause I did not mentally prepare myself for a WHOLE vacation day. Plus I have a houseful of dirty (no need to specify, the WHOLE house is dirty) and no ambition or plans to clean it. Oh well, it's a wasted day.
